英國文化協會與BFI Flare 和 BFI NETWORK 合作推出【自由之歌短片輯】，此為繼英國文化協會一年一度的同志電影計畫《自由五部曲》之後所推廣的同志平權短片輯。最初三部短片由英國團隊與巴勒斯坦、南非和敘利亞的電影創作者合作，現在加入了三部來自柰及利亞、南非和利比亞的短片。他們一起展示了電影創作的豐富獨特之聲、探索多樣主題，包括性慾和衝突、跨世代男同文化、移民、家庭關係。請注意，某些影片包含可能被視為敏感的素材。 
 
More Films For Freedom, commissioned by the British Council in partnership with BFI Flare and BFI NETWORK, builds on the success of Five Films For Freedom, the British Council’s annual online LGBTIQ+ film programme. An initial three short films, made by UK teams in collaboration with Palestinian, South African and Syrian filmmakers, have now been joined by a further three, from Nigeria, South Africa and Libya. Together they showcase distinctive filmmaking voices and explore diverse themes including sexuality and conflict, inter-generational gay culture, migration and family ties. Please note that some of the films contain material that might be considered sensitive.

Living in the tunnels beneath Tripoli a queer Libyan teenager, Britannia, dreams of escape to a better life, but an unexpected discovery forces him to question whether to stay or flee from his homeland and his friends.

A woman returns to her hometown of Lagos in search of healing. What she discovers instead is a path that takes her into her past and toward a new understanding of the people and experiences that shaped her.
